But donations vary from year to year. So the VP of development has to find new ways to raise funds. 

That’s why an organization needs to have a VP of Development who is creative and innovative. Also, one of the main functions of the VP development is to attract new donors every year. 

They are responsible for increasing the number of donations in the Ad council. Because if donors decrease or stop giving money to an organization. 

So its operations will be affected negatively.

How To Become A VP Development In Ad Council?

  • Be at least a college graduate with a degree in public relations, communications, social work, or business administration.
  • Be able to work well with committees and volunteers.

  • Have strong communication skills.
  • Have the ability to listen, speak and write well.
  • Have at least five years of experience in fundraising and development.
  • Know about sales and marketing.
  • Know fundraising software, such as Salesforce.com or Blackbaud.
